Augie March are huge in Australia and get great reviews here in the States as well. Pitchfork gave their most recent album, Moo, You Bloody Choir, an impressive 7.5/10 (their album before that ranked even higher, 8.2/10) and said "they make literate, studied music richly adorned with unexpected turns of phrase, both lyrical and musical." They recently won Song of the Year (Download "One Crowded Hour") and Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year at the Australian Music Awards.I'm giving away an Augie March prize package.
