I've got a few pairs of tickets to give away to see Torche this Saturday at Spaceland. Opening the show will be Black Cobra and Clouds. Torche's new to me, but I heard they blew the doors off the Echoplex recently when they opened for Boris. Plus I've always had a soft spot for melodic, anthemic metal (I did grow up in the Midwest). All Music Guide gave their most recent album, Meanderthal four and 1/2 out of five stars.If you like the Hydra Head type of metal, this is a must see show. I predict much alcohol will be consumed (win these tickets so you can afford more)....
