Monday 12/13/10
[Pick of the Night] Sweaters / Dead Trees / El Sportivo / Kilimanjaro @ The Satellite [f/k/a Spaceland] (Free) – I heard last week’s show was packed. According to the LA Weekly, Dead Trees has served as Little Joy’s backup band. El Sportivo is headed up by Lewis Pesacov of Fool’s Gold and Foreign Born.

[Pick of the Night] Tame Impala @ Echoplex (Sold Out) - Star Death and White Dwarfs cancelled. I saw Tame Impala at a half empty Echo earlier this year and thought they were just OK. It came off a lot more Dungen-inspired in the live setting.

A lot of them have “Christmas” as a band and most of them have “Charlie Parker” as the support. Parker died 55 years ago you dipshits.
[Recommended] The Bronx / Film School @ Mr. T's Bowl (Free w/ RSVP) - Another late addition to the concert calendar. 
[Recommended] Badly Drawn Boy / Justin Jones @ Troubadour (Sold Out) – Never know what you’ll get with a Badly Drawn Boy show.
