Le Switch Play the Echo on Wednesday Night

Ray Davies put on a fantastic show on Saturday night at the Orpheum. If you get a chance to see him on this tour do not hesitate. More on that later.


Another great week this week. If you're into buzz bands you might want to check out Drums tonight, The Big Pink on Wednesday, Tape Deck Mountain on Thursday, Neon Indian on Friday and The XX on Saturday. Some of those will be good, but I'm recommending a variety of things...

[Pick of the Week] The Happy Hollows / The Drums / Evan Way / Random Patterns @ Spaceland (Free) – The Happy Hollows are doing the Monday night residency this month at Spaceland. The Drums are getting a ton of buzz right now (from real magazines too, not just blogs), so it should be another very well attended evening. All four bands are worth checking out tonight so get there early.
