Live Music Options: 5/31/10 - 6/6/10

Vetiver Play Spaceland on Sunday 6/6/10

Last week's Eagles of Death Metal/Them Crooked Vultures rumors did not pan out at Spaceland. Fans instead got to see Dean Fertita's solo project (Hello = Fire) which also featured Brendan Benson on guitar.
Pretty ridiculous week for live music this week. A lot of the shows are already sold out, but get out there and see something....
Monday 5/31/10
[Pick of the Night] The Physics of Meaning / Flesh the Racist Crayon / Hi Ho Silver Oh / Paul Larson @ Spaceland (Free) – People who stumble in expecting to see Sweethead will be shocked (Sweethead’s residency ended last week). The Physics of Meaning is Daniel Hart who also plays with St. Vincent and John Vanderslice. Also, Paul Larson (The Minor Canon) is playing a solo show to celebrate his birthday.
[Recommended] The Like / The Young Veins / The Living Sickness @ The Echo (Free) – The Like’s residency ends. The Young Veins are about to hit the road with Rooney.
