I'm giving away two pairs of tickets for the Heartless Bastards / Broken West show this Friday night at Spaceland. Also on the bill is Other Lives. The Heartless Bastards will be releasing their third album this January on Fat Possum Records. Lead singer Erika Wennerstrom wrote the new album in Austin, Texas and recorded it with Mike McCarthy (Spoon, Trail of Dead, Patty Griffin). The new one features pedal steel, mandolin, banjo and strings.
Local all around good guys, The Broken West are touring in support of their second album, Now Or Heaven which recently came out on Merge. If you haven't picked it up yet, do yourself a favor....
