[Pick of the Night] The Brian Jonestown Massacre / Federale @ The Music Box ($22.50) – Anton and his crew of degenerates. You never quite know what you’re going to get with the live show (I’ve seen some amazing shows and some embarrassing shows), but it looks like Matt Hollywood and Joel Gion have been touring, so that’s the classic lineup that you want to see.
Peggy Sue / Pepper Rabbit @ Spaceland ($10) – Girl group from Brighton from the same scene that brought you Mumford & Sons.
Stars / Dead Child Star @ Troubadour (Sold Out) – Popular Canadian indie poppers.

Future Islands @ Detroit Bar ($10) – Interesting Thrill Jockey band.
Hot Hot Heat / Eulogies / Links @ Bootleg ($12) – Hot Hot Heat’s Wednesday night residency continues.

Olin and the Moon / The Devil Whale / Vanish Valley @ Silverlake Lounge ($8) – Finally saw Olin and the Moon at the Henry Clay People record release show. They’re a little bit like a polished version of Wiskey Biscuit.
