The Happy Hollows Monday Residency at Spaceland Starts This Week
Sorry for the lack of posts, thanks for sticking with me.
I caught Kris Kristofferson at the Walt Disney Concert Hall last night. You've got to be a fan of his poetry, because he's not a dynamic performer. That said, he's a legend and I was happy to see him for a second time. I've missed all the recent "secret" shows, but there are a few more this week...

Monday 11/2/09
[Pick of the Week] The Happy Hollows / Pepper Rabbit / Dirt Dress / Special Guests @ Spaceland (Free) – The Happy Hollows are doing the Monday night residency this month at Spaceland. Sinking Radio: Lou Barlow's "Sharing"

Here's a quick reminder to point your internet browser to Little Radio today from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for the Sinking Radio show. Todd's back out on the road, so expect Sylvia and a guest.
My pick for today's show is Lou Barlow's "Sharing." This is the first track off of Lou's new record, Goodnight Unknown (out October 6th on Merge Records). I'm a huge Sebadoh fan (especially Bakesale and Bubble and Scrape) and admire his work with Dinosaur Jr. (especially the new record). But Lou's super lo-fi stuff (Sentridoh) never did much for me. But I've got some good news..this new record's the most polished, satisfying solo stuff he's ever released.
Catch Lou at the House of Blues on 11/5/09 (tix HERE)
