I caught the Parson Red Heads and Le Switch on Friday at Spaceland and the Radar Brothers on Saturday at Origami. Great stuff. Sorry to see the Parson Red Heads move back to Oregon - feels like I've been writing about them since the beginning days of this blog five years ago....

A lot of hip-hop/electronic music I know nothing about, but if Jeff Weiss is throwing his name on it, I imagine it’s going to be pretty good.

[Recommended] The Morning Benders / Miniature Tigers / We Barbarians @ Troubadour ($12) – I never could get past the silly band name, but the Morning Benders play good, music supervisor approved indie rock.
