DJ Cam Revisited by... (remixes by DJ Premier, Thievery Corporation, J Dilla and more) (Recall) - For the chill out fans.

The High Violets To Where You Are (Reverb) - For shoegaze fans. They're playing 3/22/06 at the Silverlake Lounge.

Wanda Jackson I Remember Elvis (Goldenlane) - The first female rock'n'roller puts out a tribute to her former boyfriend. She's playing Amoeba tomorrow night.

She Wants Revenge She Wants Revenge (Geffen) - Interpol sound-alikes (I refuse to go back to Joy Division). They're selling this thing for $6.99 at Tower Records. Playing Amoeba Hollywood tonight. They're also playing a sold out show on 3/9/06 at the Fonda.

Wolfmother Dimension EP (Interscope) - I've got a copy of this and it's not bad (but I want to hear more). They're an Australian band that sounds like a prog band paying tribute to Blue Cheer and early Sabbath. Playing Spaceland on 2/13 and Cinespace on 2/14.

Steve Wynn & the Miracle 3 ...tick...tick...tick (Down There) - Steve Wynn was in LA band Dream Syndicate. They had a really good album called Days of Wine & Roses (Kurt Cobain was a fan). Luna does a really good cover (on Slide) of "That's What You Always Say" off of that album.

SELECTED REISSUES
The Flaming Lips The Soft Bulletin (special edition CD/DVD combo; includes rarities, music videos and previously unreleased tracks) (Warner Bros.) - The most interesting feature of this reissue is the Dolby 5.1 mix, but I don't have a stereo that will play it so what's the point?

The Everly Brothers The Price of Fame 1960-1965 (box set of complete recordings, including outtakes, rarities, previously unreleased material and more) (Bear Family) - I like the Everly Brothers and all but this is $150.

nine inch nails Head Like a Hole EP (reissue of 1989 collection) (Rykodisc) - I have the original issues. A lot of this stuff doesn't hold up for me.
