New Release Tuesday

RECOMMENDED
I'm guessing the Centro-Matic and Mogwai are your best bets.....

THINGS I NEED TO HEAR
Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan Ballad of the Broken Seas (V2) - Former Belle & Sebastian member teams up with former Screaming Trees lead singer. Isobel performs solo tonight at the Troubadour.
Centro-Matic Fort Recovery (Misra) - People who love Centro-Matic (like Jay Bennett, Drive-By Truckers, Ben Gibbard) really love them. Other people don't get it. I think it's Will Johnson's voice that divides. I'm loving the song "I See Through You" right now, but unfortunately they're not giving that one away.
Download "Triggers and Trash Heaps"
Mogwai Mr. Beast (Matador) - Scottish post-rock band that puts on an amazing live shows. Playing live at Coachella on 4/30/06.
Download "Folk Death 95"
