I've got a few pairs of tickets to give away for the Giant Sand show this Wednesday at the Echo. Howe Gelb's been releasing records since the mid-1980s. Their latest, Provisions, came out last month on Yep Roc and the All Music Guide described it as "desert-fried late-night country-rock poetry." Opening the show are Robert Francis and Bucksworth.
