Back from Paris - Secret Show at Spaceland

As you (hopefully) noticed, I've been on vacation for the past 10 days. Paris is a pretty incredible city. I didn't see any bands while I was there, but I had one pretty great indie rock sighting - one of the twins from Blonde Redhead walking the tiniest little dog in the Marais district.

For those people who have emailed me to inquire about the "Very Special Guests" at Spaceland on Halloween, I was told I couldn't announce it. But I got a Myspace bulletin from a New York (by way of Dallas) band with this: "Halloween in Los Angeles means a rocking good time at Spaceland." Also on the bill is The Entrance Band and Jason Simon of Dead Meadow. Advance tickets are only $10 and are available HERE. Add that to the list of great options...

That has to be the Secret Machines.
