Jason Isbell @ the Troubadour ($15) - The former Drive-By Truckers guitarist. Aquarium Drunkard has some tickets to give away. Pitchfork gave his debut album a good review. I enjoyed it as well.
Au / Amps for Christ @ Perhspace - Pitchfork gave Au a good review, calling them avant folk in the vein of Animal Collective. The record's good enough, that it made me curious to see them live. Perhspace is a tiny little art space that can fill up quickly.
Low vs. Diamond / Nico Vega / Alamo Race Track @ Spaceland (Free) - Low vs. Diamond are doing the Monday night residency at Spaceland this month. They've got some heavy hitters backing them, and they've already gotten a lot of good press in the UK. Manic / Minutes 'Til Midnight @ the Echo (Free) - Manic is doing the Monday night residency this month.
