Peter Bjorn and John / Cass McCombs @ Henry Fonda Theatre (Sold Out) – We’re all sick of “Young Folks” by now, but this is still one of the best albums released domestically in 2007. In contrast to popular opinion, I thought they were quite good when I saw them at the Roxy.

Bat for Lashes / Lion of Panjshir / Tara Busch @ Spaceland ($12) – Critical darlings, Bat for Lashes will be on Morning Becomes Eclectic Wednesday morning. Thom Yorke’s a big fan and they’re nominees for the Mercury Prize (the best British or Irish album of the last 12 months) along with Fionn Regan, Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys and others.
