Rest In Peace - Michelangelo Antonioni

From about the time I turned 15 to my late 20s I loved European and American art house films. Michelangelo Antonioni was one of the directors I really admired. His films aren't for everybody but if you like slow, meditative films with the occasional arresting image then check out the films he did from 1960-1975. Zabriskie Point's an interesting meditation on 1960's America with a soundtrack featuring Pink Floyd (songs written for the film), the Grateful Dead, John Fahey, Jerry Garcia. Blow-Up's an interesting meditation on reality vs. illusion. The Passenger's an interesting meditation on identity. You get the picture....
RIP to Ingmar Bergman and Tom Snyder as well.

I like that you only liked european art house films from the age 15-late 20's. Like as soon as you turned 30 you're all "wait a minute! fuck this!"
