Unfortunately, I didn't make it out Dr. Dog last night. I'd love to hear how it was. The main reason I didn't get out, can be seen in the photo above. This is what happens when some piece of shit on a suicide mission gets wasted in the middle of the afternoon and plows his car through a parked car, over a curb, over a speed limit sign and into two businesses. Absolutely bananas. Luckily some good folks came down and generously boarded up the windows to hopefully help prevent any looting.
Almost everybody's out of town at SXSW. Unfortunately I haven't had time to do my guide to SXSW. If you're there, go eat at Rudy's Barbeque and Curra's Grill. You won't regret it. Hopefully I'll have time to do a post later today...

Tonight's Pick: The Shore @ Spaceland – The Shore is one of those local bands that got signed to and dropped by a major label before they ever had a chance. The lead singer’s charismatic and has a great voice. They write big, anthemic songs.

Dr. Dog was one the best shows I've seen in years..Sorry you missed it. They played a great variety of stuff from Easy Beat and We All Belong.
