Public Service Announcement RE: Little Pedro's
As usual, I took a look around the other LA blogs today. A few of them are promoting shows at Little Pedro's that are no longer happening at Little Pedro's. Little Pedro's is under new management and due to intense competition, they are shifting their focus to a different demographic. What does this mean? Don't expect many indie shows in the future. The guys who were booking Little Pedro's (Infectious) are now booking the Mint. As a result, some of the touring shows that were scheduled for Little Pedro's (like Wednesday's ladyhawk show) have been moved to the Mint. So double check before you head down to Little Pedro's. Scott at Infectious has done an outreach to the local bloggers (Rock Insider did some shows at Little Pedro's, Floating Away had one scheduled and I had talked to them about doing one) so hopefully he brings some cool stuff to the Mint.

Thanks for spreading the word. Its a shame. i really liked little pedros and am sad that it wont be an indie venue anymore. hopefully the mint will come through.
Damn, Little Pedro's is cool. The Mint? Doesn't Harry Dean Stanton hang out at that place?
drinks are expensive at the mint! but they have some tasty treats on the menu!
