go see dappled cities fly. they are incredible. if things are right in the world everyone will be hearing a lot more about them very soon.
you really need to add shows from the local hip hop scene. seriously. zion i and the grouch at the knitting factory. PLUS every WED. night is Low End Theory at the airliner. daddy kev, dj nobody and gaslamp killer are resident dj's with a revolving door of local hip hop favs peforming every week.
i agree with anonymous #2 (don't know enough about dappled cities fly yet to comment on #1). unfortunately my hip hop knowledge is a bit limited. feel free to email me if you think something warrants a listing. i'll definitely try to keep my eyes out....
