Top Five New Releases (From 10/10/06)
There's a lot of hatred for that new Killers' record, but given the choice, wouldn't you much rather listen to that than Evanescence?
None of this stuff has me running out to the store, but I'm sure some of it is worth your hard earned cash.

Micah P. Hinson: Micah P. Hinson and the Opera Circuit (Jade Tree) – At Spaceland on 10/26. Download “Jackeyed”
Damien Jurado: And Now That I’m In Your Shadow (Secretly Canadian) – He’s really mellow too. I liked his last record. At the Hotel CafĂ© on 10/19. Download “What Were the Chances”
Robert Pollard: Normal Happiness (Merge) – I’m a little sick of this guy, but I do like some of the GBV albums quite a bit. Be sure to buy your copy at an indie record store so you’ll get the free live CD as a bonus. Download “Supernatural Car Lover”
