SoftLightes AreDoing the Monday Night Residency at SpacelandIt was a mellow weekend. After spending so much on Neil Young, I didn't feel like I should spend any money. I did see Le Switch (as a power trio), Tiffany Anders (solo) and Mark Fosson at the Echo yesterday. Nice free, early Sunday evening entertainment. Although a Guinness at the Echo will cost you $7.

SoftLightes @ Spaceland (Free) – The Softlightes are the resident band. It’s catchy, electro-pop. They're on Modular which has been pretty successful in the US lately with Wolfmother, New Young Pony Club, Klaxons, etc.

The Pity Party / Io Echo @ Viper Room ($10 or free with RSVP) – Hit up the Viper Room on Myspace to get on the list.

Airborne Toxic Event / Cavil at Rest @ Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa (Free) – Doing a dual residency.
